The rock/reggae vibe is exceptional. The occasional rap adds flavor and the music; damn it’s just plain GOOD! “Family & Friends (Feat Big B)” is a prime example as it showcases the rolling yet bouncy guitar strums, banging bass play, pristine and simple percussion and a nice rap in a reggae sounding delivery by Big B. The hook is very upbeat and the vocals echo. “Honey (Feat Big B)” takes on a lot more of a hip hop/rap feel. The lyrics might make some people cringe yet make most people quite pleased. The beat crawls along in a slow, bass heavy fashion and is quite edgy fitting with the controversial lyrics brilliantly. They get very reggae on the jam “Square Peg (Feat Pato Banton)”.
